Our group of three thoroughly enjoyed our time on the boat and cycling the islands. The scenery is truly beautiful. The food prepared on the boat was very good, as was the food at the restaurants we stopped at for lunch while cycling. There's something to be said about drinking beer during our morning stops! We all enjoyed the company of Bernard, Dule, and Ivana. Truly there was never a dull moment. We would all love to do the trip again, though this time with a Go-Pro camera to film those awesome downhills! Great shots at every turn. Hope to make it back to Croatia one day.

When I started looking for bike and sail vacations there were no reviews to
guide me. I finally found one on a closed forum that recommended
Dracosailing, so I decided to forge ahead.

The price was right and most
weeks were sold out, which led me to believe that someone knew something
good about it.

The Dalmation Islands dot Croatia's shoreline. We explored six of the 1000+
islands and each had different topography, terrain, sites and architecture.
Each day was spectacular and unique! Bernard skillfully guided us around
the islands giving great tour and historical information. He also provided
helpful bicycling guidance. I learned a lot about shifting properly and making
the most of momentum.

The rides were broken up by coffee breaks and lunch at locales around the islands.
Ana, the chef and purser provided healthy and delicious breakfasts and dinners, and you were welcome to make a lunch to bring on the ride, although I preferred trying local foods at the restaurant stops. They had reasonably priced, delicious salads and seafood.

The captain, Dule, a proud Croatian, not only provided smooth sailing, but
much history and humor.

The accommodations were moderate, but
comfortable....just don't overpack.

One the best things about the boat size is that you are sailing with no more
than 10-12 people. It allowed for sitting down for meals in an intimate, top
deck setting, having the opportunity to get to know new people, and discuss
the day's adventures. Also, the sunsets from that open dining venue are
beautiful!

One thing to keep in mind...Tripsite lists this as easy to moderate cycling
ability. That's a judgment call you'll have to make for yourself. There are a
fair amount of hills and some off-road. Challenging, but doable. Electric
bikes are available if you need a boost. There were plenty of stops and no
real pressure to keep up, but no one is left way behind.

My friend and I have travelled a lot of the world in the last few years, and we
rate this the best vacation yet!

My wife and I, along with 8 friends, just finished a week long cycling trip on the Prvi Odisej. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The boat cabins, while not luxurious, were comfortable. The food was great, and the crew couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. The owner Bernard led us on the daily bike rides through beautiful scenery and nice coffee / lunch stops. All in all, it was a great trip!

Our family would set sail on this trip again. It is overreaching to describe the accommodations as luxurious in any way. But the skill and friendliness of the crew is all the luxury anyone needs. The owner has carefully mapped out the most charming bicycle routes with great care. Our 13 and 15-year-old daughters were never bored -- and that means a lot. I liked that there were no hidden costs and even extra beer/wine was a great price (not like evil cruise ship prices.) This group took care of unexpected extras, like helping us with our phone cards and finding us at the airport. Thank You.

Inga and I enjoyed our boat and bike trip on the northern Dalmatian Islands very much. We will do it again! The boat, accommodations, meals bicycling and hosts were all we expected. And scenery on the islands and sea are breath-taking.
